UK charity Railway Children is inviting everyone to consider spending a night at the station to help raise money and awareness for vulnerable children living on the streets.
Night at the Station 2026 will take place on Thursday 26 March at many stations across the country, including Manchester Victoria, Leeds, Birmingham New Street and Nottingham.
This is an opportunity to gain more of an awareness of some of the challenges faced by children living on the streets. Participants are advised to “be prepared for a cold, uncomfortable night, but you will at least have a roof over your head, warm food and drink, and the companionship of your friends and colleagues.”
Over 400 people took part last year in what is described as a “powerful, eye-opening experience”. Over £750,000 has been raised over the past five years. This money supports the work of the charity in the UK, India and Tanzania, improving the lives of children at risk.
