John is one of the Community Rail Officers for the Crewe to Manchester Community Rail Partnership.
John has been involved with the voluntary movement for over 25 years first working for the British Red Cross and more recently as a Peer Support Officer for a Stockport based charity. John also has a number of years experience in transport as he previously worked for Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council as a Transport Policy Officer, which included a stint as Community Rail Officer, before returning to the role in 2021.
