Home to several large employers, including Royal London, Freedom Finance, Umbro and the Information Commissioner’s Office, Wilmslow benefits from excellent rail connections, with four trains an hour to Manchester, hourly services to Manchester Airport, Shrewsbury and South Wales, and a new hourly direct service to London.
The town is reputed for its good nightlife, and quality shopping. Wilmslow is also home to a farmers market, held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Bank Square.
Only slightly further afield, a short journey on bus 200 to Styal will take you to the National Trust owned Quarry Bank Mill. Wilmslow also makes a good base from which to explore the surrounding countryside, with both the Bollin Way and North Cheshire Way passing in close proximity to the station.
Customers with a valid train ticket receive a 10% discount at the Flower Shop.
