Styal is home to the National Trust run Quarry Bank Mill and Styal Estate, which is well worth a days visit. This can easily be reached by public transport, by taking bus 200, which runs hourly between Manchester Airport and Wilmslow Station, via Styal, and also by train.
The 18th century Quarry Bank Garden has recently reopened to visitors following a substantial restoration.
On Monday-Saturday Styal has seen an increase in services effective from December 2011:
Soutbound (towards Wilmslow and Alderley Edge): 08:18, 11:18, 13:18, 1718 and 18:18
Northbound (towards Manchester and Airport): 07:59, 15:59 and 17:59
