Styal is home to the National Trust run Quarry Bank Mill and Styal Estate, which is well worth a visit. This can easily be reached by public transport, by taking bus 200, which runs hourly between Manchester Airport and Wilmslow Station, via Styal.
As part of Cheshire Year of Gardens 2008, the National Trust will open the 18th century Quarry Bank Garden to visitors for the first time. The garden has recently undergone a 12 month restoration.
From December 2008 onwards, Styal will have three rail services a day to Manchester, at 07:59, 15:59 and 17:59, and three services a day to Crewe via Wilmslow, at 08:18, 13:18 and 18:18.
