TICKET PRICES FROZEN FOR STATIONS ON THE CREWE-MANCHESTER LINE

The Rail Partnership is happy to announce that the cost of return tickets for stations along the line has been frozen in the recent ticket pricing amendments. There has also been a small decrease in the price of some season tickets compared to last year which will encourage passengers to continue using the service during the harsh economic climate.

For further reductions in the cost of travel Northern are still offering their Duo ticket, which is accepted by other train operators, allows two adults to travel together at a reduced fare for an off-peak return journey - one ticket at the normal price, with the second at half price. Duo tickets are available for outward travel from 09:30 on Mondays to Fridays and all day at weekends and Bank Holidays. Return travel is not allowed on trains timed to depart from Manchester stations, Levenshulme, Heaton Chapel and Stockport between 16:01 and 17:59 inclusive on Mondays to Fridays, and Duo tickets are *not available* on Saturdays and Sundays in December.
