MANCHESTER RAIL HUB STUDY PUBLISHED

The Manchester Rail Hub Study has now been published by Network Rail.  The study proposes solutions to tackle capacity issues and improve connectivity and performance throughout Greater Manchester and more generally within the North West.  The study proposals will potentially benefit users of the Crewe-Manchester via Stockport and Airport routes.

TICKET PRICES FROZEN FOR STATIONS ON THE CREWE-MANCHESTER LINE

The Rail Partnership is happy to announce that the cost of return tickets for stations along the line has been frozen in the recent ticket pricing amendments. There has also been a small decrease in the price of some season tickets compared to last year which will encourage passengers to continue using the service during the harsh economic climate.
