GOOSTREY FESTIVAL 9TH - 17TH OCTOBER 2009
The Goostrey Festival, nicknamed 'Goosfest' will take place from 9th - 17th October, featuring a varied range of cultural events, including music, comedy, poetry, art and dance. For further details on the events and how to book tickets visit the Goosfest website.
Goostrey has its own station on the Crewe-Manchester line, and the festival features Geoff Higginbottom performing for the October 14th Folk Train to Goostrey, hosted at the Red Lion pub.
