Geocaching

Geocaching is a great way of exploring the countryside. If you haven’t come across it before, Geocaching is a little like a treasure hunt. Participants use GPS or smart phones with mapping facilities to locate hidden objects. It’s a great way to add an additional interest to a walk and can be really great at keeping youngsters interested.

For more information about Geocaching take a look at this general Geocaching site.

For an overview of Geocache trail locations across the UK visit; the Geocache Trails web site.

I’ll be adding details of individual trails that can be accessed or completed close to or at our stations, so if you have used a trail please let me know via this sites email (below).
